The Grace Food Bank Pantry
We are so
grateful for all who have supported our Food Bank Pantry with your
contributions of food, funding and hours of volunteer time--and with
your prayer. Without your help we would not be able to sustain
this very special ministry at Grace.
The food bank
pantry at Grace is part of the food bank network of the Associated
Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County. We are not associated
with Community Harvest Food Bank System.
Each pantry
in the Associated Churches Food Bank Network is assigned and covers a
particular geographical area. At Grace, the area served is
identified as follows:
from the South side of Pontiac Street on the North
to the North side of Rudisill Street on the South
from the East side of Hanna Street on the West
to the West side of So Anthony Blvd on the East
Families
residing outside of this grid are served by other pantries.
In calendar
year 2005 the Grace Food Bank Pantry site provided a total of 42,340
meals to 2,819 individuals residing in 740 households in our service
area. Our pantry is operated by a staff of 14 volunteers.
The Grace
Food Bank Pantry is
open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M.
